Four States in National Fours Semis

Teams from four states have reached the semi final stage of the Sir Arthur Lee National Fours Championship at the 55th National Carnival in Adelaide.

Western Australia is represented by last year's winning skip Moose (Mike) Sweeney. Last year's runner up in Pat Phelan's team from Victoria is also a semi finalst. They are joined by teams from Queensland - skipped by Bob Gaze - and from South Australia under the leadership of Ian James.

Ian and his team members are newcomers to this competion - all having joined our association this season.

At the time of writing, Sweeney (WA) is leading Gaze (Qld) and Phelan (Vic) is leading James (SA). Both games are at about the halfway point.
