RSL Bowls Association 55th National Carnival

RSL Bowls Association is proud to announce the 55th National Carnival will begin on Monday 29 April 2024 at Marion Bowling Club.

South Australia welcomes players from 5 states although Tasmania has been unable to field a full side for the Jack Hamilton VC Trophy competition which makes it necessary to field an Allies side for this carnival. Thanks to all who have made themselves available for the Allies.

The Ceremony of Remembrance commences at 0815 with the President of RSL SA, Mayor of City of Marion, as well as all members and state presidents.

The first rounds of the Jack Hamilton VC Trophy Series and the Dr. Sydney Krantz Trophy Series will be played shortly after the conclusion of the Cermony of Remembrance.

With players visiting from five states we expect the competiton on the greens to be fierce. Old rivalries will resurface but once each of the games is completed, comraderie and fellowship will take over. Long standing friendships will be rekindled and new ones will be made.

The organising South Australian organising committee, headed by Trevor Whitelaw has worked hard to ensure that both the interstate series and the Sir Arthur Lee National Fours Championship will be successful. The committee wishes all participants good bowling and good health while they are here with us.
